Cindy grew up in Madison, NJ and graduated from The College of William & Mary with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, she spent over five years at Kantar in New York City, where she most recently managed advertising research projects on the Client Leadership team. At Kenan-Flagler, Cindy is concentrating in Marketing and Data, Digital Analysis & Technology, and looks forward to joining Bayer this summer as a Brand Management intern. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and running.
Executive Vice President
Will grew up in Newton, MA, and attended the University of Iowa where he studied Environmental Policy and Planning as well as Political Science. After graduating from Iowa, Will moved to Washington, DC, where he worked in several roles for Congressman Dave Loebsack (IA-02), culminating in his role as Senior Legislative Assistant responsible for a broad domestic policy portfolio. In his spare time, Will loves bourbon, playing golf, traveling, hiking, and watching his favorite teams (Iowa Football, the New England Patriots, and Boston Red Sox). This summer Will is interning with Procter & Gamble in Brand Management.
VP of First-Year Experience
An abnormal native of New Jersey, Kris enjoys neither Bruce Springsteen nor Bon Jovi. Kris is a graduate of Middlebury College, where he majored in Music, and Seton Hall University School of Law. Following law school, Kris clerked in the Family Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, then spent 10 years litigating complex business disputes ranging from business dissolutions to computer fraud. Outside of school and work, Kris holds his CrossFit Level 1 Certification, annoys his neighbors with his electric guitars, enjoys long road trips, and is a (very) amateur Twitch streamer.
VP of First-Year Experience
Originally from Randolph, NJ, Allie attended Franklin & Marshall College for her undergraduate degree, studying business and psychology. After graduating, Allie moved to Hoboken and then New York City to begin her career working in pharmaceutical advertising, where she spent 6 years. Allie is concentrating in marketing and is excited to be working with Keurig Dr Pepper this summer as a brand management intern. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and anything food related.
VP of Learning & Development
Originally from Westmont, IL, Brandon attended the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Marketing. Post-graduation, he spent the first two years of his career at Target Corporation as a Business Analyst in Men’s Electric Shave and Hair Care. After Target, he spent a couple years working in the front office for the (2019 MLS Cup Champion) Seattle Sounders. This summer, he will be interning at Campbell’s Snacks in Charlotte, NC. In his free time, Brandon enjoys cooking, playing/watching sports, reading, and hiking.
VP of Learning & Development
Matt is an Air Force veteran and graduated from Ohio University with a BBA in Finance and Business Economics. Post-graduation, he worked in Washington, DC for Deloitte Consulting in Strategy and Operations and as a Counterterrorism Consultant for the Intelligence Community in Afghanistan. Matt will be interning this summer with Procter and Gamble in Brand Management. In his free time, Matt enjoys sailing, cooking, travel, and live music.
VP of Shadow Days
Originally from Birmingham, AL, Andrew attended Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee and graduated with a BA in American Studies in 2014. After graduating he spent the next five years in Washington, DC working in a couple different B2B sales roles for Atlantic Media and a tech startup called FiscalNote. This summer Andrew will be working with Procter & Gamble on the Head & Shoulders shampoo brand despite having no hair personally.
VP of Finance
William is a native of McLean, Virginia, and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a degree in Legal Studies. After Graduation he returned to the D.C. area and spent several years working as a Project Manager for the Consulting Firm Apprio, Inc. During his time at Apprio, William spent the majority of his time working on contracts at the Department of Health and Human Services, the Food and Drug Administration, and the United States Agency for International Development. William will be working for Mars, Inc this summer as a Marketing Intern. If he is not on campus can usually be found on a nearby golf course, or playing pickup soccer.
VP of Social Engagement
Kathleen grew up in Plainsboro, New Jersey before moving down south to study International Business and Marketing at the University of South Carolina. After graduating, Kathleen moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to join SC Johnson Professional as part of a leadership rotational program and later took on a marketing role within the company. She is excited to return to Charlotte this summer as a strategy intern for Corning. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys running, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and cheering on both the Gamecocks and the Tar Heels.
VP of Communications
Originally from Charlotte, Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Vanderbilt University. Brian then moved to the Washington, D.C. area and worked at a political polling firm during the 2014, 2016, and 2018 election campaigns. In the summer of 2020, Brian will return to Charlotte to work in brand management at Campbell’s Snacks. Brian loves playing golf at UNC-Finley, backpacking, spending full days on the lake, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers.
VP of Resources
Jonathan grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended University at Buffalo where he earned a BS in Business and BA in Economics. Following graduation, Jonathan returned to New York City where he worked in marketing for 7 years for several companies, including The New York Times and Club Quarters Hotels. Jonathan focused his career in digital marketing prior to business school, but decided to enter business school to focus on more strategic and business-ownership opportunities in Marketing. Jonathan enjoys rooting for the Bills, finding new craft beer, and discovering new places to travel.
VP of Case Competition
Megan is from New Jersey and most recently worked in advertising for a media agency in NYC. In addition to work on a financial services account and new business pitches, she worked on a consumer packaged goods account for three years at Wavemaker Global, which inspired her to come get her MBA and pursue brand management. Megan is passionate about the food and beverage space–she is planning the 2021 FoodCon for the KFBS Net Impact Club and is excited to be interning at Keurig Dr. Pepper in Massachusetts over the summer.
VP of Diversity and Inclusion
Originally from Long Island, NY, Jason attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore for undergrad where he studied Cognitive Science but didn’t want to become a doctor or go get a PHD, so he had to find something else to do. After graduation, he began his career at Advisory Board, a health care firm in Washington, DC. Starting in sales, Jason quickly found out that cold calling probably wasn’t his life’s passion and shifted to the digital marketing team. Most recently, Jason worked at Siemens in a Marketing Operations role and looks forward to pursuing brand management opportunities after business school.
VP of Corporate Relations
Dayne is originally from Harriman, New York, and has spent most of his professional career in the Washington, DC area. He graduated from the University of Maryland, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy. Before attending Kenan-Flagler, Dayne worked in a variety of cross-functional roles at PepsiCo and most recently led sales and market strategy at a menswear start-up. Outside of his coursework, Dayne is a VCIC Fellow and serves as the VP of Corporate Relations for both the Marketing Club and Consulting Club. When not in the classroom or club meetings, Dayne enjoys road cycling, golf, and watching professional sports.
